Congratulations to the Bombers for bringing home the Championship Banner from the Riverview Tournament! It was a great weekend, and everyone had a blast in Moncton / Riverview. The Bombers were the "talk" of the tournament as to how we absolutely dominated the competition.

Great job to Ryan Larter for being picked as Tournament MVP!

We have an icetime tomorrow (Tuesday) in Crapaud at 7:10.  Rick is frantically trying to arrange a game, but we will not know until late tonight. Plan B is a practice . I will send out an email when we know for sure. Either way, we will not be having practice with the Ice Hogs on Wednesday at 4:40.

We have a league game in Alberton this Friday at 6:05 pm. I believe that is Thomas Ford’s Birthday as well – so, Thomas, you need to score a hat trick on your birthday – that is the rule!

There is practice on this Wednesday in Crapaud at 4:40, I believe it is with the Ice Hogs. Then we have 2 games this weekend, Saturday in O’Leary and Sunday at home against Alberton. Currently there is no schedule yet for the Pownal Tournament, but we will let you know when it is released.

Another important date is February 2^nd. We have an icetime in Crapaud at 7pm, and are planning on doing our team / player pictures at that time. I am thinking we will do the pictures in the Black jerseys, so please make sure that everyone has black socks. The cost for the team photo will be approx. $20 each, and there are optional individual packages available as well.

 Awesome day of hockey today! Three wins in a row for the Bombers and also Ben Peters winning the shootout competition. We dominated!

Congratulations to all of the players and coaches for all of your hard work.

Please note that the game in Summerside on Monday night, Dec. 19th is cancelled. We will have a practice at APM at 4:00 instead on the same night.

We will play the make-up game at Slemon Park Arena on Monday Feb. 6th, 5:45pm.

After the vote, we have a tie for Captain. Ben Peters and Bailey Anderson received the same number of votes. Rather than have another vote, we have decided that Ben will be Captain for Home games, and Bailey will be Captain for Away games. While one is Captain, the other will be Alternate Captain.

The other 2 players selected for Alternate Captain are Ryan Larter and Connor Crozier.

I am pleased to say that every member of the team received at least one vote in this process; and as I said to the boys in the room tonight - this is a privelege given to you by your teammates and coaches. We expect you to exhibit the traits that we talked about - Leadership, Sportmanship, Fair Play, and Commitment.

Because of a glitch in the schedule, we have switched a couple of games. Our first league game will be this Sunday at APM against Summerside 3.
