NR #2 was more determined on Sunday evening when they beat Northumberland/Morell 2-1 with goals from Jackie Best, assisted by Brenna Howatt and Jennifer Stewart. Great goaltending by Gia Green.

With 4 seconds left to play East Prince scored the only goal of the game to give NR Flames #2 our first loss of the season.  Season record now at 5-1.

Stong goaltending by Gia Green, recording her 3rd shutout of the season, combined with goals from Jennifer Stewart and Hailey Collister, with assists from Brenna Howatt and Jackie Best, led the North River Flames #2 team to its 4th straight win.  

 

Next action for NR #2 is Sunday, November 23 at 6:10 pm @ the APM when they take on Tignish.

Another big win for the Flames, 6-1 over Capital Disrict/Pownal.  Kennedy Vincent has the hot stick yesterday with 3 goals and one assist.  Great passing by Sydney Northcott for 3 assists!  Jennifer Stewart was 2-1.  Other point getters - Sydney Wheatley with a goal, Hannah Thompson with 2 assists, Hope Muttart, Elsa Howatt and Savannah Maclachlan all had one assist.  Gia Green was strong in the net.

 

Next action for the Flames will be Thursday night in Northumberland, Northumberland is undefeated at this point in the season.
