Blazers lose to Souris 3-2 in OT in championship game at Southside Tournament.
The Blazers finish their season with a great week-end of tournament play at the Southside St. Patrick's Hockey Tournament. They went 3-0 in round-robin play, defeating Southside, Summerside and Tyne Valley. In the semi-final match-up, they met Summerside again, beating them again to advance to the championship game against Souris. The game was close throughout and ended up tied 2-2 after regulation. Souris scored in sudden-death to win the tournament.

Great job, Blazers!

Blazers have great 4 game run.
The Blazers finish a great 4 game run on Saturday evening taking 5 points to move into 3rd spot for the Central Division. Back-to-back wins over Sherwood # 1 were followed by a tie with Sherwood # 2 and then a very close and exciting 2-1 loss to North River # 2. Great job, boys!

Blazers have great George Trainor run.
The Blazers went 3-0 in round-robin play at the George Trainor Hockey Classic to finish in 2nd place behind the North River Flames. The Blazers defeated Pownal #2 (5-3), Souris (5-1) and Sherwood #3 (4-2). In semi-final play, the Blazers had to face Sherwood #3 again but unfortunately lost 3-1. Congratulations to the boys for a great tournament.

Blazers split week-end games.
The Blazers took a 9-1 win over Southside in Borden on Thursday past but followed that up on home ice on Friday past with a 4-3 loss against Rustico. The Blazers now sit at 3-2-0 in regular season games.

Blazers split week-end games with Sherwood teams.
The Blazers defeated Sherwood Team #2 on home ice this past Friday night by a score of 7-3 for their second regular season win. Unfortunately, they came up short against Sherwood Team # 3 on Sunday, losing at the CARI Centre by a score of 4-1.

Blazers get 3-3 tie against Charlottetown # 2 in week-end exhibition play.
The Blazers battled Charlottetown # 2 to a 3-3 tie this past Saturday in exhibition play at the APM Centre. Our next game time is this Friday, November 20 when we host Sherwood # 2 in league play at the APM Centre.

Blazers win league opener, 9-1 over Sherwood Team # 1
The North River PeeWee A Blazers topped the Sherwood # 1 team by a score of 9-1 this evening in the Blazer's league home opener at the APM Centre.
