The Penquins had a double-header on Saturday travelling to Bedeque for their 2nd game of the day. A great game with lots of ice time for our shorter bench. The Penguins took home the win with a 5-2 win over the Bedeque Blue Jackets. Super Sport went to Caleb Rust.

What a great game Penguins ....to take a win versus the NR Lightening (5-4) It was back and forth the entire game. Super Sport of the game went to Jacqueline Mix. Congrats to our goaltender Ethan MacLean for the awesome saves today. And a big congrats to Luke for getting the hat-trick!! WAY TO GO TEAM!

What an exciting game tonight team against the Senators!! It was a back and forth game for all three periods right down to the final buzzer. 6-5 score in favour for the Penguins. SuperSport tonight went to George Barna who played a great game! Well done Penguins.

Penguins are on the ice at 7:00 am this Saturday (Jan 2nd) for a practise. Then on Monday, January 4th we will play a game at the APM at 5:10pm vs the Senators. Then Saturday, January 9th at 7:00am (practise).

The team took in the Rocket game at the Civic Centre. Although the Rockets were not able to take a win against the Bathurst Titans, this did not dampen the mood for the North River Penguins. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the night at the rink. AGAIN a big thank to Dave and Kelly Watts for the night out!!! HAPPY NEW YEARS PENGUINS!!

The Penguins were on fire on Tuesday at the Bedeque Christmas Tournament ...winning all three of their games versus Tyne Valley, Borden and Bedeque. What a great day at the rink for the team, coaches and parents. The team picture with their new banner is on the NRMHA home page.

The action packed game was back and forth in scoring for all three periods. Ethan and the Lightening's goalie saw alot of shots. Brayden Monagan got his first goal AND was our Super Sport of the night. Great job team. Final score: 6-4 for Lightening.

Great game team ...the score was certainly not representative of the game - 8-2 for Summerside. Better luck next time. A good game for Will Melanson, today's goalie, who saw tons of shots! It was a nail biter ....but the Penguins took the win with a 4 to 2 final score! The last goal was an open -netter when the Ducks pulled their goalie...lots of excitement at the APM for players and parents. A great game in Rustico today team. Although we took a loss (6-2), Luke played an awesome job in the net with lots of amazing saves. Next game is Monday, November 23rd at 5:10pm at the APM.

We have confirmed that we will have a brief Parents Meeting on Monday, November 23rd following our 5:10pm game at the APM. The meeting will take place in the Sports Office upstairs at 6:20pm.

Please note that we will be playing a game on November 21st at 12:20pm in North Rustico. The game vs North Rustico on Sunday, November 29th at Crapaud at 4:40pm- IS NOW CANCELLED due to the Early Bird Tournament. This will be rescheduled to December.
