In our final regular season game, Kensington scored twice late in the third to tie the Flames 3-3 this afternoon at the APM. The hard hat award was presented to Matthew Jelley for his fine debut in goal! Next ice time is a practice in Crapaud at 4:40 on Thursday.

The flames scored five unanswered goals in earning Jonah Arbing a 5-0 shutout over Kensington Thursday evening. Joe MacEachern earned the "hard hat" award with his stellar play on right wing! Our next match is Evangeline on Saturday and our final home game against Kensington on Sunday. Finish with a strong effort, Flames!

Tignish scored in the final minute of play with their goalie pulled and an extra player on the ice to tie the Flames 1-1 in an exciting and well played game by both teams. Caleb Boswall made several outstanding stops in earning today's hard hat award. Next ice time is Wednesday's practice. See you there!

The Flames travelled to Tignish in style and played with pizzazz dropping the Aces 9-2. Hard hat award was given to Matthew Jelley scoring his first of the season in his new right wing position. Thanks again to Blake in organizing the Rocket bus and arranging pizza at Greco. Fun time had by all!

North River and Summerside were scoreless after the first period and the Capitals led 2-0 at end of second. Flames scored in third to come within one goal but Summerside replied with one of their own and then an empty net marker in final minute of game. Fine effort Flames! The hard hat award was presented to Simon Tweel for his consistent effort throughout the game! Next ice time will be Wednesday morning's practice and then a game versus Charlottetown on Thursday at 4:40 in Crapaud.

The Flames displayed some great passing skills on a stormy Friday night enroute to a 5-3 victory over Sherwood. The "hard hat" award was presented to Dixon MacLeod for his effective play and quick transition to defence! Our next opponent is the unbeaten Summerside Capitals at 2:40 on Sunday. After scoring the first goal of the game, the Flames allowed four unanswered goals and dropped a 4-1 decision to Pownal this afternoon. However, the score was not indicative of the play as we had equal offensive chances. The "hard hat" award went to Malcolm MacDonald for his fine defensive play throughout the game. The Flames lost to Summerside today 5-2. "Hard hat" award went to Cole Taylor as this was his first game returning from an injury. Be ready to play your best against Pownal tomorrow at 2pm (Pownal Rink).

We lost 2-1 to Pownal today in the opening game of the Spud Tournament. Cale Rogerson was awarded the player of the game and Jonah Arbing earned the "hard hat" award for his stellar play in goal. The Flames defeated Evangeline for the first time this year by a score of 8-2. The defense core had a strong game breaking up many plays just inside our blue line! The "hard hat" was awarded to Michael Mc Quaid in efforts of his D-D passing! Keep up the great work, boys!

We played a strong game against Evangeline this morning but lost 4-3 in an exciting match. The boys found their scoring touch quite often in a 10-0 route over Tignish. Good luck to the flames as they advance to the crossovers Thursday morning.

Storm conditions have postponed Tuesday games. Updates regarding tomorrow's schedule will follow once we have further information.

The flames broke a 3-3 tie with two third period goals to beat Sherwood 5-3 in the first game of the Summerside Memorial Tournament. Game two is tomorrow morning at 9:15 versus Evangeline followed by the third game versus Tignish at 11:30. Go Flames Go!

Game is on at 1:45 this afternoon vs either Sherwood or Tignish! Give yourself plenty of time and please drive carefully!

Monday morning games of the Summerside tournament are cancelled. Further information will be posted around lunchtime today to explain the afternoon schedule.

The Flames skated to a 3-3 tie with Sherwood on Friday night and then found the back of the net six times on Sunday to defeat Tignish 6-3. Practice on Wednesday morning and then we begin the Summerside tournament on Monday, Dec 27 at 10:15 vs Sherwood. Check the calendar for the remaining schedule.

In the crossover game, the flames outscored Sherwood 3-1 in the third period to break a 2-2 tie and went on to win 5-3. They advanced to the final game versus Summerside and played a strong game but just fell short by a score of 2-1. Congratulations to all boys for a super effort throughout the tournament!

However, this morning we built up a 3-0 lead but allowed Pownal to score four unanswered goals in a 4-3 loss. We advance to the semi final game versus Sherwood tomorrow at 12:40 in Pownal. The first game of this weekend's Pownal tournament is Friday at 4:50 vs Charlottetown (Pownal Stadium) while the second game is 8:20 Saturday morning vs Pownal (Pownal Arena). Remember to arrive one hour prior to game time "sharply dressed"! Get ready to RUMBLE!
