there have been some changes and additions to the schedule. Check it out. The only additional ice time we will have is the make up game with Sherwood Yellow whenever they arrange it and we are still owed 2 practice times by the association, hopefully we will regain them.

Just got word from the Summerside Team #2 that the game on Mar 10th has been cancelled. The Caps took that ice time from them- MEANIES! They are trying to get an alternate date.

We have recovered one of the practice times owing to us. March 8th @ 4pm @ APM has been added to the calendar

Our only ice time this weekend is Saturday at 11:30 CARI A. See you there!

I have added 2 Exhibition Game times to the schedule. Summerside Team #2 will come to the APM on Mon Feb 21st. We will go to their rink on March 10th.

We have no practice time Friday Feb 18th due to the SWEETHEART.

previously I had on the calendar that this coming Monday's game was at Crapaud- that is a mistake, the game is in BORDEN! we will play Southside. Please pass on to other parents.

Greg Stapleton (Evan's Dad) nominated the Vipers for the Team of the Week and they won!

Everyone please meet at the entrance to the KRock studios on Fitzroy St at 6pm on Wednesday Feb 16th. KRock studios are on the corner of University Ave and Fitzroy in the Atlantic Technologies Building.

The boys get to hang out in the On Air studio and get their voices on the air, have Pizza Delight pizza and pepsi.

Sorry folks I've been a little lazy updating this site. Everything is now up to date and jives with the hockey pei website. We have 2 outstanding games that haven't been played and have yet to be rescheduled. They are the Jan 1st game vs the Ice Dogs and the Jan 15th game vs Sherwood Black. I will let you know as soon as I get an update.

Wed Dec 29th game of parents vs Vipers at 2:50pm. We will have a little get-together upstairs  afterward for pizza and drinks and a little "Minute to Win it" challenge. Hope you can all make it!

I have logged onto the site and submitted the names for the team photo.

All ordering and paying can be done online- or mail/ drop off to The Picture Guy. All instructions are online. Start by going to his site and entering the event ID that Alan passed out that day- 11GMM116, from there click on your player and follow all instructions. For anyone who doesn't have internet access or is having difficulty following the instructions I will bring the laptop to the rink on Fri to help you out.

FYI We are not ordering a team package it is everyone for themselves.

Based on the players' performance at tonight's game the assistant captains for Saturday's game have been announced and are:

#1 Evan Stapleton for a great job fore checking the opponents in their end. If you are not familiar with this term coaches will go over it in the dressing room before Friday's practice. Evan will demo this during the practice on Friday with the coaches.

#2 Ben McQuaid for his stand up job on defence- being attentive to instructions from coaching staff.

#3 AJ Wilting for his never ending positive attitude and relentless effort on the ice- he is always appreciative of the coaching staff which makes us feel good- thanks AJ!

because our practice and home games times fell on Christmas Eve and Day and New Years Eve and Day there have been some changes- the calendar has been updated.

Dec 4th 3:15 Cody Banks Arena vs Sherwood Black. This game was originally scheduled during the Montague tournament- but really you don't need to know that.

CBC Compass and Hockey PEI have teamed up to present Hometown Hockey Heros- find out all the details at www.hockeypei.com and click on the CBC logo. Submit your child's info and pic to be aired on CBC Compass.

there will be a team outing on Sat Nov 20th to see the UPEI Panthers take on the University of Moncton. Players please wear Home jerseys to this event. All players get free admission. Adults are invited as well -I think reg admission is $7. If players want to buy snacks they will need money for that. You can drop your son off if you wish some parents have volunteered to supervise. Please meet  us in the lobby at 6:30. Please let us know if your son will be attending

The Picture Guy is booked for team/ player pics on Friday Nov 26th at 4pm. Please wear Home (white) Jersey and socks- if you have them.

During tournament play it is required that the team is ready to go on the ice 30 min prior to slated ice time in case games are running ahead.

Parents: I would like to circulate a contact list with child's name, parents' names, email and telephone numbers to all parents. If you do not want you info released please notify me ASAP. This would be used to contact other parents for drives etc. I will send it out via email and hard copy to those w/o email.

League Schedules have been released. We are in the CENTRAL division along with:

North River Ice Dogs, North Rustico North Stars, Charlottetown Abbies, Charlottetown Miteys, Sherwood Black, Sherwood Yellow, Southside (Crapaud), Bedeque.

There will be 3 divisions WEST, CENTRAL and EAST. Top 2 teams in each division will make playoffs, but that is a long ways down the road...

unfortunately lots of these teams have home ice times on Sat like we do so there is a bit of work to trade up some times that conflict. Check the schedule regularly for updates.

We have a confirmed spot in the Pownal A tournament Jan 26-30th. We are still waiting to hear from the off-island ones we applied to. We will keep you posted.

PLease remember that the coaches would like the boys ready to go on the ice 15 min before game time. At this time all parents are asked to be out of the dressing room so coaches and players can prepare for the game.

Likewise they would appreciate 10 min after the games AND practices to connect with the players before the parents go in.
