Welcome back to our NRMHA Bantam families and players. The 2011 season is about to get underway. I am the Bantam Coordinator and I wanted to send an introductory email to give you some information about the upcoming week.  The Bantam AA team continues its' tryouts. As those of you who have been through this before know, the next week or so, will be about the Bantam AA team completing their tyouts and about getting players evaluated and assigned to the appropriate teams within Bantam A. This year our numbers may indicate that we will have 3 Bantam A teams, all playing in a non-checking league. We know that it is best to do this process quickly, so that teams can form and children can get to practising and get to know their team mates and coaching staff.

Saturday will be the first Bantam A icetime @ 6:30pm at the APM. The second icetime will be in Crapaud on Oct 16th @ 2:40. Because of our large number in the division,  we will be evaluating the players at 2 seperate icetimes. The first icetime will have players with the last name beginning with A- Mac, the second ictime will have players with last names beginning with Ma -Z . The head coaches and independent evaluators will be present at both icetimes. Following these icetimes , a draft will take place to make sure each of the teams are as even as possible.  The coaches will then pick their assistant coaches and managers and contact their players.
 

The association has a great website which we use as the primary communication tool for NRMHA families.  Instead of bombarding you constantly with emails, I am going to invite you instead to visit the applicable Bantam pages on this site. 

NRMHA requires many volunteers to provide a great hockey program for all the children.  We all provide support to our children ensuring they get to practices and games and have a great hockey experience.  We also need coaches, assistance coaches, trainers, team managers, all to enable the teams to run smoothly.  So please think about how you might be able to contribute, and feel free to let me know. Saturday Oct 15th       APM                   6:30-7:30  (players surnames A-Mac)

Sunday,   Oct 16th,     Crapaud              2:40-3:40   (players surnames Ma-Z)
