NRMHA Sweetheart Tournament Scholarship
This scholarship is intended to provide scholarships to two male and two female students, in their graduating year of high school, who have demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, a strong work ethic, and a passion for hockey. The scholarship recognizes a player who has not only worked to their potential on the ice but has also embodied the values of dedication, perseverance, and being a good teammate on and off the ice.
Conditions of Eligibility:
- Must have recently been actively involved in hockey for at least two years and a registered member of the North River Minor Hockey Association for the 2024-2025 hockey season.
- Note: Mid Isle Wildcat and Matrix players are eligible to apply as long as their initial registrations were with NRMHA.
- Graduating from a PEI high school entering your first year of study in the fall immediately following graduation.
- Must be accepted into a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Must demonstrate sportsmanlike qualities and a strong work ethic both on and off the ice.
- At least one letter of reference from a coach
