Hi folks,

Your coaches and/or managers should be reaching out this weekend with more information for you.  The three teams agreed to share the cost of purchasing an additional half ice practice each week so that each team can have a full ice practice every third week.  As a result, the practice schedule will be on a three week rotation.  The regular season schedule should be out soon, so I don't want to get too far into the season with scheduling and only have to turn around and restart.  

Your managers/coaches will be updating your team calendar and communicating more with you.  Here are the first ice times.  These will change some when the schedule is released.

Here are the rosters for our three U18 A Male teams.  Please understand that there were many requests made and the coaches sincerely tried to meet as many as they could while still attempting to balance the teams.  It just isn’t possible to meet all requests for teammates and coaches.  We hope that everyone has a good season, no matter the team!

Hi all!  Thank you for your patience as we get started into another year of hockey.

Our first ice times for U18 A Male hockey will be starting next weekend.  Here is how the first two ices times will work as we try to get teams settled.  

Group 1:  Players with last names starting with A-Mac.

Saturday, October 23rd, 5:20PM - 6:20PM

Sunday, October 24th, 8:30PM - 9:30PM

Group 2:  Players with last names starting with Mc-Z.  

Saturday, October 23rd, 6:30PM - 7:30PM  

Tuesday, October 26th, 8:30PM - 9:30PM

If a player needs to move from one group to another due to scheduling conflicts, please send me a note at deroche01@gmail.com.  Players will do a combination of drills and scrimmages during these ice times.  The players will be divided onto teams and these teams will be posted by late Thursday evening (October 28th).  Please check back to this page for the lists of the teams.  

Notes:

*All players are to arrive at the rink 15-30 minutes before their posted ice time. 

*Players are to wear masks on arrival and in the dressing rooms.

*Spectators are to enter the facility at the posted ice time and wear masks.  

*All spectators 12 and older are to provide ID and proof of vaccination upon entry.  

*Everyone is to exit the facility through the doors by the dressing rooms.

Thursday, October 21st, 7:30PM - 9:00PM. Exhibition game vs. Gulf Storm. (The final team roster will be posted on the AA page after this game.)

The first tryout for AA is Thursday, October 14th.  Group 1 is on the ice at 7:30 and Group 2 is on at 8:40.

Notes for upcoming ice times:

*Players are to arrive 15-30 minutes before their posted ice time.

*Masks are to be worn by players and spectators entering the facility.

*Spectators may enter at the start of the ice time.  

*Players do not need to show Vax Passes.

*Spectators 12 and older need to show valid ID and proof of double vaccination in order to enter the rink.  

Thank you in advance for respecting these rules.    We all want to enjoy a good season together and are doing our best to make everything work for the players.  Disrespectful behaviour towards staff and volunteers will not be tolerated.

We have a new registration system through Hockey Canada this year.  As a result, coordinators do not have updated emails to contact people directly yet.  Please be checking this page for updates until the teams selection is all settled.  At that time, your team manager will be your contact for regular season communications.

Welcome to the 2021-2022 U18 Hockey Season!  

Below you will find listed importand information for the upcoming conditioning and tryouts for U18AA.  Players who do not wish to try out for AA may still choose to attend the conditioning ice times and not the tryouts.  The cost for each ice time is $10.  This is to be paid in cash when arriving for each session.  All sessions are at the APM Centre.

*Please check this page for information as it gets updated over the next few weeks.  You may also check the AA page for relevant information as well.

*Unregistered players will not be able to attend these sessions.  

Conditioning:

Saturday, October 9th, 6:30  Group 1

Notes:

Masks must be worn to enter facility.  (Both players and spectators.)

Players can enter 15-30 minutes prior to the ice time.  (Players are not to enter the lobby until the contact tracer is in place.)

Fees are paid to the contact tracer. 

Spectators may enter when the ice time begins.  The light in the window will be switched to "Open". 

The doors to the rink will be locked 15 minutes after the ice time begins, so please be there before that time.

Players and parents exit from the doors by the dressing rooms.  

Washrooms in the lobby are available for use.
