Return to Hockey Plan
Initial Information For Return to Hockey Next Week
CPHO and Hockey PEI guidelines state that we can have a consistent group of 20 participants and a max of 50 people in the rink per ice session. We have confirmed that if we use half-ice boards then 2 groups of 20 can be on the ice at the same time. The only thing is that the max number of people allowed in the rink does not change. This max number of 50 includes players, coaches and spectators. Our best option at this point is to have 3 ice times per week, and 2 teams attend per ice time. Each child will only be allowed to have one parent/spectator accompany them.
Since we have 13 kids per team and 2 teams sharing the ice, we will be very close to the max number of 50. If all kids show up and have one parent/guardian with them we would actually be over by 2 people. I will ask that if you aren't able to make it you let me know so I can make sure we do not go over this number. Also, if you have 2 players on the ice and they are able to travel with just one parent/guardian that would be very much appreciated.
Our ice times are looking like they will continue to be Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, and the additional ice time will likely be Friday early evening. I am working on a schedule and each team will still get 2 ice times per week.

This weeks Saturday ice time (Nov. 20th) is cancelled as it is being used for the early bird tournament. I have reached out to see if we can have another ice time in the upcoming weeks and will keep you all posted.
