21-22 Under-11 AA Bulk Carriers Mid-Isle Matrix - Team News Archives

Thank you to everyone for coming to U11 Matrix Tryouts this season.  Below is the final roster for the U11 Matrix Team for the 2021-2022 Season.  

The coaches will follow up with short evaluation for each player in the coming days.   Good luck to everyone in the upcoming hockey seasons!

U11 Matrix Final Roster 

As mentioned in the parents meeting, the upcoming ice time for the U11 Team will be:

• Practice, Saturday October 2nd at 4:40-5:50pm at CUP Summerside
• Exhibition Game, Sunday October 3rd at 1:50-2:50pm at APM Cornwall
• Practice, Thursday October 7th at 5:00-6:00pm at APM Cornwall 

• Saturday, September 25th from 12:10-1:40pm at APM
• Monday, September 27th from 6:20-7:50pm at APM
• Wednesday, September 29th from 5:50-7:20pm at APM 

Thank you to everyone for coming out to the Matrix Tryouts. There were a lot of wonderful, qualified players, and unfortunately cuts had to be made. Each player's hard work and dedication was noticed during these tryouts. Good luck to everyone for this upcoming season!!

The following is the listing of players that have been asked to attend the second round of tryouts which begin Saturday, September 25th at 12:10-1:40pm at APM. Jerseys will be provided to the players at the rink.

Please note that there will be a Parents Meeting with the Matrix Board Members on Monday, September 27th at 6:20pm to provide information from the board and to address any questions that parents might have. The meeting will take place in the Gym at the APM Centre. The coaches will not be at the meeting, this will only be Matrix Board Members.

Below is the list of players for the upcoming U11 Matrix tryouts that begin on Sunday, September 12th at APM Centre in Cornwall.  These groups will remain for the first three ice times of the tryouts. The U11 Tryout schedule is listed on this page as well for your reference.  

Players will be provided with Matrix Jerseys for the three ice times and will be assigned a number, it is very important that each player keeps the jersey with the assigned number. The jerseys will be returned after the 3rd ice time. 

Players are allowed to enter the rink 30 minutes before the scheduled ice time and they will have to exit 15 minutes after the ice time.  Spectators are able to enter the rink right before the scheduled ice time and they will have to exit right after the ice time is finished.
