Development Opportunity
Our NRMHA Female Development Sessions will begin this Sunday at 11:40-12:40pm at the APM Centre. These sessions are a great way to get the female players out and develop their skating and puck handling skills.
November 22nd will be for the U9 and U11 girls and you're required to sign up to attend.
Please click on the link to register.
It is a first come first serve basis- so be sure to check your calendar before you sign up as we don't want to have players not showing up and taking a spot from another player. We will take 28 skaters and 2 goaltenders.
Players are asked to arrive at the APM between 11:10-11:25 to enter the rink.
All registered players will be posted on our Development tab on the website by Saturday at 6pm.

Upcoming Ice Times

Sunday, November 15, 3:30 PM game in Alberton vs. Tyne Valley.
Monday, November 16, Crapaud, 4:40 PM practice, with Girls #1.
Further practices and games are on our team calendar.
If you see an error or conflict somewhere, please let me know.

Sunday Update
Jerseys
We will have to make a few trades with jerseys due to size issues for some of our players. Please be prepared for that on Sunday and/or Monday. Try to bring both the black and white jerseys to Sunday's practice in Crapaud. Bring both black and white jerseys to Monday's game and all future games.
Socks
The white socks were intended to be given to first year players only. We will try to correct that on Sunday/Monday.
Goalie
We will need to have a rotating goalie for each of our games this year. The hope is everyone will take a turn at least once during the year. The best case scenario is to have our rotating goalie practice once as a goalie prior to a game. Karly will practice as a goalie today unless someone else really wants to. We will set up a rotation shortly so everyone knows ahead of time.
Regular Season Schedule
Hockey PEI has released the regular season schedule for this year. Please note that games on the schedule will get moved around depending on ice availability at any given rink. Our own team calendar is the schedule that you should go by at all times. Feel free to reach out to Kurt if you see a possible error. on our own website. Here is the link to our schedule on the Hockey PEI website, http://site948.goalline.ca/team_schedule.php?team_id=755486&league_id=69312

Team 2 News
Team Calendar
A Google Calendar has been added to the "A-2 Flames - Girls" page. As practice, game or meeting dates are confirmed, they will be added to the calendar-- that way we won't have to navigate the larger NRMHA Calendar to find the girls' times. The calendar is "public" for those of you who want to subscribe to it.
Player and Parent/Guardian Information
So we have up-to-date contact information for parents/guardians, and to ensure we have the basic information for players to support a fun and safe season, please fill out the Google Form below as soon as possible. While the NRMHA team page, e-mail and the private Facebook group will be our main sources of communication, phone numbers are required in case of an emergency.

Private Facebook Group
We have created a private Facebook group for the team. It provides a more user friendly place to share team information and engage with one and other. Practices, games and meetings will also be added to this page as an "event" for those who prefer that platform.
If you want to be added to the group, please let Kurt know. Just a reminder-- this is a private group which means only members can see who's in the group and what they post. Out of respect for the other players and their families, please do not share information posted on this group publicly. While some people have signed up for Facebook to support their kids' extracurriculars, for a number of reasons, many are not comfortable with information relating to their child being shared publicly.
The link to join will only be available publicly for a short time, www.facebook.com/groups/373903137164109/
