Playoff Push! Game Tomorrow!
Remember guys we have a game tomorrow in Crapaud at 2:10 against Tignish! It's the makeup game for February 18th. Four games left before the playoffs and we sit in 4th place. We need to keep pushing for the wins!

By the look of the standings we will be in Tier 2. We finished behind 0'Leary and Alberton and ahead of Tignish, Summerside 1 and Summerside 2. I hope you all had a great holiday and are looking forward to the second half of the schedule.

Please make tournament fees payable to North River Midget A Team 1 if you are paying by cheque. Due for tomorrow's practice.
Our next game is on Tuesday, Nov.22nd at 8:55 in Summerside at Credit Union Place Ice Pad. So next week will be busy as we play in Crapaud against Evangeline on Wednesday at 7 and then practice in Crapaud at 8:10 on Thursday.

The game time in Crapaud for November 23rd will be at 7pm. Thank you to those who pointed out that I forgot to add the time. We also have information regarding accommodations for the Dieppe Memramcook Tournament on Feb,24th-26th, thanks to Julie McQuaid. Please check your emails for this information. Could you also let me know if you would like to enter the Pownal Tournament for February 16th-19th. I will be at practice on Thursday so it would be great to get the medical forms and fees finalized then.

I just wanted to let everybody know that our home game for the 19th on Saturday has been switched to November 23rd (Wednesday evening) in Crapaud. It is still our home game and we will playing against Evangeline.

Today's Update
Hello Parents and Players,
Congratulations boys on a hard fought win! Please remember to return your medical forms to me at the next practice on Thursday in Crapaud at 8:10. If parents could also bring the tournament fees, or send with your son, to the practice as well. We do not have our ice time for the 19th on Saturday so that home game will be moved to another time. As of now it will be played on Wednesday the 23rd at 7 in Crapaud. I will know for sure on Monday as I will be talking to the other manager then. If that does not work we will reschedule the game and keep the time as a practice. Please check the website tomorrow for an update on the change in schedule.
I am wondering if people are interested in entering the tournament in Pownal from February 17th-19th? Please email me at seshoemaker@edu.pe.ca to let me know. The cost for this tournament is $700.

latest news
Our practice time is confirmed for Thursday's 8PM in Crapaud. There will be no rotation unless there are gaming conflicts.
After this evenings hockey PEI meeting they are trying there best to have a scheduled game this weekend. However if this doesn't happen I am sure we will schedule a exhibition game for Sat.
Don't forget about the parents meeting prior to Saturdays game 5:45 Sat.

Update
Parents and players, here is a quick update for what we know.
Practice ice times are shared ice this year and it could vary between Mondays 5:40 pm Crapaud and Thursdays 8:00 pm Crapaud. We are just waiting for a schedule on this.
We are meeting with hockey PEI this week Tuesday for the upcoming season and they will let us know when the schedule will be out.
I would like to have a parents meeting Saturday Nov.5th 5:45 prior to our 6:30 game. I will secure a room upstairs.
We still need a manager if anyone is interested, it would be great if someone could take on this position!

Welcome Players,
I'm Scott MacLean and I'll be coaching North River Team 1 Midget boys this season. I look forward to a great year of hockey. Kenneth MacFadyen and Jeff Mallet have agreed to coach with me as well.
As you know we have a game this week Wed 8:30 pm at APM Centre. Try be there 30 mins before the game.
We have a practice this week Thursday in Crapaud 8:00pm.
I will keep posting info for you as it comes in. We are trying to lock down home ice time and practice time.
