Matrix donates door proceeds to CBC turkey Drive
The Midget AAA Mid-Isle Matrix will be donating proceeds from 2 upcoming game admissions to the CBC Turkey Drive. As well, there will be an additional donation box located at the main entrance for extra donations to support this initiative during the Christmas season. We want to purchase as many turkeys as possible! So please encourage your family and friends to attend one or both of the following games:
Tuesday November 29 at 7:30 pm at Kensington Community Gardens in Kensington (vs Summerside Capitals)
Tuesday December 6 at 7:40 pm at APM Centre in Cornwall (vs Pownal Red Devils)
I am working on getting some boys on CBC Compass with Boomer later this week to help advertise the APM game. Stephen and I are also sending out notes to schools, etc. Any help on spreading the word would be appreciated!
Once we have the funds, we'll take the boys shopping and then deliver the turkeys to CBC.
I am also working on another outreach initiative for later in December – I’ll keep you posted!
