Donations Ride the Canadian Tire Zanboni Our City Sarnia Links Arena Sarnia Sting Tour Marketing Opportunities Sponsors The SSEC Seating Plan Driving Directions Team Academic ProgramsRBC Sting Scholastic Achievement Awards 20092010RBC Amateur Hockey Scholarship for Undergraduates Program Guidelines 2010 Overview (Jump to topic)Objective Number of Awards Value and Duration of the Awards Requirements for Eligibility Eligible Applicants Must Provide Eligible Institutions Eligible Programs Selection of Scholarship Winners Responsibilities of Scholarship Recipients Payment Application Deadline Application Forms Termination of this Scholarship Program ObjectiveThe purpose of this program is to promote postsecondary education by providing scholarship opportunities for students currently playing amateur hockey in Ontario Scholarships are funded by the RBC FoundationTop Number of AwardsUp to eighteen (18) entrance scholarships are available to be awarded each year Two (2) scholarships will be allocated per participating team 1 to a female student and 1 to a male student in grade 12 who plays amateur hockey Top Value and Duration of the AwardsUp to $5000 CDN is available over a maximum of four academic years for students enrolled in a Canadian College or University This is providing that the recipient maintains a fulltime course of study as determined by the institution with an overall average of 70% or recipients will be required to provide proof of academic standing at the end of each academic year Each scholarship will provide $1000 per year for the first three years of an academic program and $2000 for the fourth year (should a program of study continue beyond three years) Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the University or College attended by the recipientNOTE If a scholarship recipient is accepted into the first year of their first professional degree program (such as law medicine education etc) while receiving the RBC Amateur Hockey Scholarship they may at the so...
