Attack PressroomFRONTENACS HOLD FORT AGAINST ATTACK12122009The Owen Sound Attack didnt show up to play for the second time in as many nights on Saturday and were defeated 73 by the visiting Kingston Frontenacs Scott Stajcer and Tyler Beskorowany squared off once again the nets with Stajcer winning the first round last Sunday 20 Kingston rolled into Owen Sound after a 52 loss at home to Oshawa Friday night and promptly put that loss to rest by jumping out to a 30 first period lead over our Attack and they never looked back The second period was not much kinder to our Attack Two Frontenac goals made it a 50 Kingston lead after two periods of play The Owen Sound fans were getting restless on this Teddy Bear Toss night Taylor Doherty made it a 60 game 105 into the third causing the fans at the Bayshore to toss their Teddy Bears early Steven Shipley got the Attack on the board at 249 of the 3rd period Garrett Wilson and Marcus Carroll also scored before the affair was over but the Frontenacs held a lead that was insurmountableMarcus Carroll would send one fan home happy as he scored with 111 remaining to make Rick Carder of Desboro the 560 2 Minutes of Madness winner and send him home with $56000 cash!
