Next Shift College Bound HockeyNext Shift Point 2 Point and Game Time Marketing would like to welcome you to the College Bound Tournament Team! Next Shift pro coaches and players will conduct all practices and will coach the team in two tournaments this summer The goal of the Next Shift College Bound Select Team is to expose graduating high school seniors to pro coaching that will teach skills and systems that will compliment what the players learned form their club and high school hokey programs Instruction will be geared toward preparing the players for the Next Shift in their hockey careers A number of former and active NHL players will conduct the weekly practices and Pete LeBoutillier (formerly Anaheim Mighty Ducks) will be the teams head coach We currently have commitments from Glen Williamson (Head Pro Scout of the LA Kings and coach of the Japanese National Team) Mark Deyell (Edmonton & Toronto) Rich Pilon (Rangers) Jeff Odgers (Colorado) and Jim McKenzie (Nashville) to assist in the practices Keeping in mind that the graduating seniors have a great number of commitments of their time this late spring & summer we have developed a schedule that limits practice to one night per week and keeps the tournaments away from holiday weekends The plan is to conduct a ninety minute practice once per week (on Wednesdays at Laurel the May 18 practice will be held at Columbia) beginning May 11 with the last practice on July 13) All practices will begin at 7pm except the Columbia practice which will begin at 915pm and the July 6 practice that will begin at 630pm) The tournaments are scheduled for the weekends of June 2426 and July 1517 (Both at Laurel) Hockey Song Championship Game Highlights Championship Game Highlights Twins Bayonne Highlights Bayonne HighlightsTri City Game Highlights Tri City Game HighlightsFlying High Totally unrelated to hockey but worth watching!
