The cost for the HNIC 20092010 fallwinter season is $460 per player The cost includes ice time referee insurance and loaner jerseys There will be 26 players signed up for the season plus goaltenders There are 24 nights of skating all on Thursdays starting on October 1st There will be a preseason tryout skate on Thursday September 17th for all returning players and any new players interested in perhaps joining HNICWe will appoint two team captains to start the season Those captains will then select in a draft format the two teams to start the first miniseason The first draft night to select the first two teams will be held on Thursday September 24th at the rink at 845 pmEach miniseason will run for four games and then be followed by a two game playoff championship Even man trades between the two teams will be allowed up until the 4th game of the miniseasonAfter the playoffs of each miniseason the captain that wins the playoff will retain his franchise The captain of the losing team will lose his franchise The commissioner will then select a new captain for the new franchise from anyone who wants to apply from the player pool With the two new captains for the next miniseason a new player dispersal draft will be conductedWe will repeat this for each mini session This should ensure that we keep the teams about equal in strength and that we also maintain a competitive yet fun atmosphere throughout the session Visit Our Team Store!!!
