Jacksonville Breakers Womens Ice Hockey Team Jacksonville Breakers Womens Ice Hockey Team Welcome Welcome to the official website of the Jacksonville Breakers!The Jacksonville Breakers are a womens ice hockey team in Jacksonville Florida We play at ICE (formerly Skate World) at I95 and Emerson Street We welcome all women age 18 or above to come and join us!Go Breakers!Mission Statement Continue to grow womens recreational and competitive ice hockey in North Florida and South Georgia in a positive and fun atmosphereFounded in 1997 the Jacksonville Breakers are part of the Florida Womens Hockey League (FWHL) We are an all women amateur ice hockey team playing house league games at Jacksonville ICE (located at I95 and Emerson Street) and traveling to tournaments for games against other FWHL teams from around Florida Currently there are 14 teams competing in the FWHLIn our inaugural season in the FWHL (20032004) we finished with a record of 1111 Moving up to the C division for the 20042005 season we finished with a winning record of 754 and won the League Championship title in February 2005 For the 20052006 season we expanded our coverage in the FWHL by fielding players not only in the C division but also in the Rec division Currently we have a team in the Rec divisionAll levels of players are welcome to join the team from beginner to experienced The only requirement is that you are a woman above the age of 18 Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and we encourage women of all ages with or without experience to join us!
